Export Requirements

Because of high resolutions, exports of the ECL202 may require an export license.

ECL202e

The ECL202e has different resolution specifications, no bandwidth selection, and can ship without an export license.

Probes, Ranges, and Resolutions (Probe Dependent)

Listed specifications assume a 3 meter probe cable; flat measurement area diameter at least 3 times larger than the probe diameter; and no customizations.

Probes can be ordered as vacuum compatible; custom probes are available.

Standard and Fine Ranges, Resolutions, Thermal Drift

Listed specifications are for standard target materials: Nonferrous = Al 6160, Ferrous = 4140 Steel.

Specifications

Typical specifications for standard targets and probes. Actual values depend on probe, target, and calibration. Specifications assume a target area at least three times the diameter of the probe.

* RMS values listed. Peak-to-Peak values are approximately 8-10 times RMS values. Read Understanding Sensor Resolution Specifications and Effects on Performance about this often misunderstood specification.
In high EMI environments, output noise may rise to 0.030VRMS (0.3% resolution)
** Thermal Drift specified at: Probe: 15°C-65°C; Driver: 15°C-50°C
