GENE-APL5 are powered by a high-performance 14nm Intel® Atom® N4200 quad-core 2.50 GHz processor (burst), with full support for USB keyboard/mouse input, and direct output via HDMI. The GENE-APL5 is fully 4K media playback capable with on-board HDMI output, making it ideal for deployment in IoT, kiosk, digital signage, and cubicle applications.     Overview

    In addition to its pairs of external USB3.0 and COM ports, the GENE-APL7 features internal connectors for eight USB2.0 and up to ten COM ports. The powerful SBC also has MiniCard and mSATA expansion slots and an 8-bit DIO, making it one of the most expandable subcompact motherboards on the market. Despite its impressive specifications, the AAEON GENE-APL7 is an extremely cost-effective solution. Different configurations of the GENE-APL7 are available, and they feature either single or dual LVDS connectors along with a VGA connector. An eDP port is also available on request, and as the GENE-APL7 supports 4K resolution, it can display any images you want, any way you want to show them. The fanless GENE-APL7 features an optimized design layout to ensure it has the smallest possible footprint and can be used in applications with severe space constraints. The GENE-APL7 was built with energy efficiency in mind. In addition to utilizing low power consumption LVDS technology and being a fanless solution, the board is fitted with a low-power Intel® processor.

This 3.5" single board is specifically designed for applications such as Robotics and Industrial Automation, and is powered by the latest Intel Kabylake processor, facilitating faster processing time and better image resolution. Field tests have shown that the GENE-KBU6 surpasses the Skylake model by 20%, and provides a 10% improvement in graphics power. It also supports 4K display, DDR4 SO-DIMM and EtherCAT, making it a perfect appliance for Machine Vision applications.     Overview

    Sporting the 6th Generation Intel® Core™ processor SoC (formerly Skylake), the GENE-SKU6 delivers enhanced performance over its preceding models in the series with the latest integrated chipset, and DDR4 memory support of up of 8 GB. Some of the most popular expansion interface and I/Os, such as MiniCards, mSATA, and also AAEON’s unique BIO interface for speedy customization, are also featured in the device, making it ideally suited for any industrial or embedded computing applications. Flexible Expansion The GENE-SKU6 offers a unique BIO (board-to-board I/O) to connect a Daughter Board for additional I/O port expansion, allowing users to implement their desired features without investing heavily in R&D. Wise in Design The CPU is located on the solder side of the board and is accompanied by a heat spreader, enabling effective heat dissipation and vertical space reduction. This compact-sized device is best suited for confined environments. PoE Support PoE (Power over Ethernet) support is available for optional expansion. This feature provides connection to devices, such as wireless access points or IP camera, thus minimizing the fuss of traditional deployments with long power lines or limitations caused by limited power outlets.
