The required link is established by means of a free software module provided by wenglor for a GigE Vision server. The open interface with DLL makes it possible to integrate the sensors into self-programmed C/C++ software. A software development kit can be downloaded free of charge for this purpose, which assures quick and simple system integration.

Fluid sensors from wenglor assure fully transparent production sequences. They acquire relevant parameters such as pressure, flow rate, temperature and fill-level in systems and machines. Thanks to their extremely fast response times, fluid sensors deliver accurate measured values to the controller in real-time via the IO-Link interface. Sequences can be optimized, the consumption of resources can be reduced and system availability can be increased on the basis of the acquired data – for more productivity and efficiency. Two Functions in a Single Sensor The high-performance fluid sensors are amongst the most accurate products within their respective categories.   • Image Processing and Smart Cameras - Complex Processes and Assuring Quality wenglor image processing solutions consist of multi-part vision systems, Smart Cameras, vision sensors and sensors for character recognition (OCR readers). Beyond this, uniVision software provides users with a high-performance, intuitive program by means of which all hardware components can be linked and their parameters can be configured. The weQube Smart Camera, the weQubeVision sensor and the weQubeOCR reader each unite five high-performance processors with an integrated software concept. With its additional function for pattern matching, weQubeVision standard also detects objects regardless of their position and rotational orientation within the image (X, Y and 360° tracking).   The variable VisionSystem2D consists of as many as 16 digital cameras with various resolution classes of up to 5 megapixels, a top-quality image chip from Sony’s Pregius series with Global Shutter and a flexible C mount threaded connection. Two different performance classes for the external control unit (i3 or i7 processor) with uniVision software can be used for image evaluation. Suitable C mount lenses and a variety of illumination options such as ring lights, spotlights and backlights are available. Images and height profiles can be easily and flexibly evaluated with uniVision software without any previous programming knowledge at all. As a result, all of wenglor’s image processing products can be installed and configured with just a single software package, thus reducing the learning curve as well as support and training expenses.
  • Quality Means Inspiring Standard Features wenglor inductive sensors are suitable for a wide variety of applications thanks to the variety of designs, housing materials and operating principles in the range. They are characterized by their high switching distances. This allows various standard applications to be covered by just one design. Thanks to the lack of moving parts, these sensors are maintenance-free, wear-free, waterproof and resistant to dirt and shocks. They are short-circuit proof and can also be installed in any position. The service life of the sensors is not dependent on the switching frequency or number of measurement cycles. An LC resonant circuit is arranged under the active surface of the inductive sensors. The electromagnetic field generated by this is affected when metals approach it (e.g. steel, aluminum, or brass). The output switches as soon as the metal reaches the set switching distance.

  • Ultrasonic Sensors - Making the Invisible Measurable wenglor ultrasonic sensors are almost completely insensitive to interfering factors (such as extraneous light, dust, smoke, mist, vapor, lint, oily air, etc.). They are best suited for the detection of transparent and dark objects, reflective surfaces, shiny objects and of bulk materials and liquids. Ultrasonic sensors allow for the reliable detection and measurement of objects, independent of their material, color, transparency and texture. wenglor ultrasonic sensors are characterized by their ease of use and excellent technical properties. They send pulsed ultrasonic waves of a certain frequency and determine the objects distance from the duration of the ultrasound that it reflects. The output switches if the specified switching point is reached. The measured value is output as a voltage value (0...10 V/4...20 mA) or in digital form (IO-Link).
